EHK

Project Overview

EHK Hydro Electric participated in the Boston Hydropower Plant project by providing mechanical assembly, commissioning support and technical assessment services. The project scope included field inspections, operational observations and engineering evaluations aimed at supporting safe and reliable unit operation.

Scope of Work

  • Mechanical assembly supervision and verification
  • Inspection of generator auxiliary systems
  • Bearing system assessments
  • Commissioning support and operational testing
  • Troubleshooting and technical support activities
  • Technical reporting and engineering recommendations

Activities Performed

EHK Hydro Electric participated in different phases of the Boston HPP project, providing mechanical assembly, commissioning and technical support services.

The scope of work included supervision and verification of mechanical assembly activities, inspection of generator auxiliary systems, site quality checks and support during commissioning and testing phases. Operational tests were evaluated, equipment performance was monitored and technical recommendations were provided whenever required.

In later stages of the project, additional site visits were carried out to investigate operational issues and assess the performance of generator bearing systems, lubrication systems and associated auxiliary equipment. Field measurements and operational observations were analyzed to better understand equipment behavior and support reliable plant operation.

Through these activities, EHK contributed to the safe commissioning, reliable operation and long-term performance of the generating unit.

EHK Contribution

EHK Hydro Electric provided independent technical expertise through field inspections, troubleshooting support and engineering assessments. By combining practical site experience with engineering know-how, EHK contributed to improving equipment reliability, operational performance and long-term plant availability.
