Project Overview
EHK Hydro Electric participated in the Jiji Hydropower Plant project in Burundi by providing generator assembly, commissioning and technical field support services. The activities were carried out to ensure safe commissioning of the generating units and verification of operational performance requirements.

Activities Performed
EHK Hydro Electric actively participated in different phases of the Jiji Hydropower Plant project.
The scope included supervision of generator assembly activities, inspection of auxiliary equipment and technical support during commissioning operations. Pre-commissioning and operational tests were evaluated, equipment performance was monitored and engineering recommendations were provided whenever required.
During site activities, equipment reliability, operational behavior and auxiliary system performance were thoroughly assessed, and the findings were communicated to the project team.

EHK Hydro Electric contributed to the project through its field expertise in generator assembly and commissioning, providing technical support that helped establish reliable operating conditions and achieve successful commissioning of the generating units.
