Project Overview
EHK Hydro Electric performed comprehensive maintenance activities on the power generation and propulsion systems installed on the Khankendi vessel operating in Azerbaijan. The work was carried out to ensure reliable operation of the vessel’s generators and thruster motors.
Scope of Work
- Comprehensive maintenance of 5 vertical thruster motors
- Comprehensive maintenance of 1 horizontal thruster motor
- Comprehensive maintenance of 8 main generators rated up to 5 MVA and coupled to diesel engines
- Electrical and mechanical inspections
- Insulation and condition assessments
- Inspection of auxiliary systems
- Fault investigation and technical evaluations
- Technical reporting and engineering support
Activities Performed
EHK Hydro Electric carried out comprehensive maintenance activities on 5 vertical thruster motors, 1 horizontal thruster motor and 8 main generators rated up to 5 MVA and coupled to diesel engines.
The maintenance work included condition assessment, electrical and mechanical inspections, operational performance reviews and execution of required maintenance activities.
Auxiliary systems were also inspected, potential issues were evaluated and technical recommendations were provided to support reliable long-term operation of the equipment.
